
MAXIMINA food was created in honor of our chef Cynthia Muir's grandmother.
Grandma Mina was an excellent cook, very loving and adored by everyone in her neighborhood located in Lima, Peru.
Always inviting friends and the entire family over to enjoy a delicious Sunday lunch, what Chef Cynthia remembers most vividly is how her grandmother would spend hours cooking her Bolognese sauce. She was an indulgent grandmother who would prepare all our favorite dishes; she passed away young—when Chef Cynthia was only nine years old—but her recipes, her love of good food, and that warmth of home lived on through Cynthia’s mother, who to this day taught her much of what she practices in her cooking today.
Mina also loved her yellow roses planted at the entrance of her house (our logo). Cynthia grew up with her food and the warmth of home that now in these days many of us miss, that's what MAXIMINA FOOD is all about,

MAXIMINA has been created by our Chef Cynthia Muir and is an extension of her primary brand EXOTIC GOURMET CATERING.
